This our last release. Quite a bit late, I know. Both Danger and me have been beyond busy in RL's. In fact, I haven't seen Danger in a while b/c of how much stuff he has going on. As for me, being a good parent is most important atm.

For Orochi, I have passed all our work on it to Molokidan (the translator of Orochi) to pass on to the next group that wishes to pick it up if they want our files. If you contact him at MH he'll be able to tell you where to get the raws as well. I do hope someone continues the project.

Woo Hoo for double release... yeah 185 is REALLY late, but cnet been working catchin up on his backlog and yea... hes caught up on holic now.. \o/ And big thanks to DangerPowers on helping on 186... Made it go lot quicker havin 2 people workin on it.

Also, as mentioned in credits DangerPowers set up an irc channel and a bot for our releases b/c of what goin on w/ Kodansha at MH... It's shared bot w/ Ju-Ni so you'll notice some... well... alot of bleach files in the packlist...

Edit by Danger: The output of the packlist (see link on the right side) is now filtered and only shows KuroKishakai releases. However, if you request the packlist from the bot in the channel you'll get the whole listing.

Figured I'd update those who might actually be watching this blog for our releases.

xxxHOLiC 185 is cleaned. Just waiting on a translation. So when that shows up I'll try to get it out as quickly as I can. According to the end note on the raw 185, chapter 186 won't be out until 8/24.
*edit 8/17* still no translation and CLAMP changed the schedule... next chappy is not til 9/14 now... *cries*

Orochi Chapter 2 is still in the process of cleaning. Due to many RL stuff like broken cars, crazy family back home, and getting my son ready for school (just lots of stress) it hadn't gotten too much attention. Lotta stress has been put in check so trying to work on it full speed during the xxxHOLiC down time. It will get released, just can't say how soon.

Yeah, we women can be sooo cruel to each other sometimes.

Expect a month or so for chapter 2 to show up. That chappy is 200pages long and will take some time to do.

Few Updates

Big thanks goes to DangerPowers who has been updating some things. He updating some things in hopes to make it easier for us to keep track of stuff and for you to be able to download releases. Guest do NOT have to register to download. Our new forum is located here. You're welcome to use it to discuss xxxHOLiC or Orochi, but to be honest it's mostly set up for us to keep track of things... lol... I don't know what else he might have planned to change, adjust, or just fix up a little, but... yeah... big thanks to him for setting stuff up.

Also, speaking of Orochi, Chapter 1 "Sisters" will be out soon. It is going through some rigorous QC at the moment. For the releases of Orochi we decided to leave the sfx in unless it really warranted it to be replaced, and for the typeset of these releases we're trying to stay as close as we can to what the original Japanese font looked like to the point where some were even custom modified to stay a little truer to the original look.

Ok.... the stories that Clamp created are they in some sorta weird time paradox loop thingymagig goin on... *scratches head* With what's going on in holic and in TRC, is watanuki's world the present the past or the future... b/c obviously there are some time differences goin on... like yuuko sayin that what choices made in the present affect the past and future... sooo goin back some chapters hoic yuuko said those kids choices was affecting the shop basically... sooo is watanuki time the past or is it the future?? ok... confused myself... *bangs head on desk* clamp stop being so vague at a time like this... theories in my head on whats goin on still aint meshin up right... urgh...

Ok so we're getting close to the end of this volume in holic. 171 to about 184...they seem to average bout 13 chapters or so. That leaves us w/ about 5 chapters left in this volume. I hope they don't try to wrap everything up in the next 5 chappys...that would suck...but we know that it's gonna end relatively soon due to events in TRC. *sigh*
Well I just hope we get a good explanation for everything that going on.

Anyhow, we're about to start a new project Orochi. Thanks to [Ju-Ni]Vicissitude for buying and scanning the raws and also to molokidan for already having the first 2vols translated. The chapters are REALLY long (about 100pgs)so first chapter of it will probably take a few weeks.

So sorry for the really late release on this chapter. Many, many things came up in RL for all the members. Holidays didn't help much either, but it's finally released.
About future releases though, they might be coming out just as slow, because of my move to Guam on the 15th of this month. It'll take some time to get things set up and for all my things to arrive on the boat to there. The other members might or might not get the chapters out while I'm on limited internet access for about a month or two. I wouldn't expect it though since all of us are having many issues going on atm that pulling our attention away from working on xxxHOLiC. So if you don't see a release for a while, group didn't die, just taking a break while we get our RL's in order.

Oh yeah this is a pretty big file due to all the color pages and the textless version of the spread. So if anyone wants to help me seed this on torrent it would be much appreciated. Thankies. :) Oh and hope y'all had a great holiday and happy new year...

Late Release for HOLiC 171

I figured I let people know that chapter 171 of HOLiC is going to be late from us. All of the members are going through many real life issues atm plus the christmas holiday knocking at our doors so cleaning will be going very slow. When it's done though, there will be a HQ textless version of the color spread added in with the release as a bonus. Hope you all will be able to accept that as an apology gift for a late release.

Chapter will probably be out after Christmas now as I was out of commission for about 4 days and wasn't able to even get to my computer to work on anything. Starting to feel a little better but not much. Also, still patiently waiting on cnet's translation of chapter 171. We don't want to have to use someone else's.

Figured I make a note here to inform readers what's about to happen.

Soon, very soon actually on Halloween, my family and I will be on a plane moving overseas to Guam. Just waiting on husband's final orders to come through, get the last bit of out-processing done, and start packing this place up. Since this is a military move, I will most likely be without internet or have limited access for about a month or so and my main computer will be on a ship taking forever to be delivered to our new station. This will leave me with only my husbands laptop, which I'm not very fond of using a laptop in order to clean scans. So that means from about mid-October to late-November releases will be coming out slower from us, but I'm hoping we'll be able to keep up the same pace with me using the lappy and find a hotspot's bandwidth that isn't being eaten up by all the military guys playing WOW. (Yeah, according to husband, there are A LOT of WOW players in Guam that like to use hotspots) But that is not guarantee that that can happen and it might be until I get set up in Guam before we release anything. I don't know, can't promise anything, since scanlating is just a way for us to eat up the little free time we have.

Since this move is coming up soon, I've put a hold on finishing up back chapters to point where BWYS is at (have a few chapters in progress) until my family and I get settled into our new home. hey maybe I'll be able to find the raws for v12 and v13 to scan myself to get the best quality out of them than what is currently avail, but won't know until I explore the island and see if they have them. Random weekly chapters will still be released normally, but like I said just probably a little slower until my family has completely settled in there.

Gah, I hate the military sometimes. Still leaving the continental U.S. for Guam, but they changed our report to date to New Year's Eve. *faints* So I get to have Thanksgiving and Christmas with my whole family, but be on a rust bucket thousands of feet in the air for New Year's. Just great. I wouldn't be surprised if the date changed again. *sigh*

On a side note, I have noticed that Nyaatorrents sometimes will show the older torrents are dead. These torrents are NOT dead. They are ALWAYS being seeded, just held up in the queue and more or less waiting for someone to leech off of it. I thought I would mention this if anyone has gotten discouraged about clicking on one of those that are showing up as dead.
